WHAT'S INVOLVED
Work Process For Bright Idea Web Design
STEP 1
DESIGN ASPIRATIONS. Please fill out our online questionnaire so we can get an idea of what you have in mind for your site. If you are not sure, that is OK - our questionnaire will help with that.
STEP 2
DEPOSIT. After we receive your signed agreement, we will invoice you for the 50% deposit required before work on your site can begin.
Any delay in receipt of payment, will delay the beginning of work and as a result, will push back the launch date of your website.
PROPOSAL AGREEMENT. After an initial consultation (either in person, by phone and/or email), if it is concluded that you would like to use our services, we will provide for you, a written proposal and agreement to consider.

PRE-PRODUCTION FOLLOW UP. We will review any materials we have received from you and schedule a brief meeting (either in person, by phone and/or by email) to go over questions you many have and to receive any materials from you that needs to be included on the site.
NOTE: Page-by-page content and photos must be provided at this phase to ensure timely delivery of the website draft. If we need to create content, these items are included as add-ons to the web design project base price. Wix stock images are available at no additional charge.
STEP 5
PRODUCTION BEGINS. After all materials and the deposit is received from you, we will begin building your website. Barring any interruptions (like official holidays, power outrages, and other delays beyond our control) we will have a first web draft for you to consider within 2 weeks. Completion depends on your timely content submission.
STEP 6
REVISIONS. Design revisions are expected. Every effort is made to incorporate your consolidated ideas and changes when revising the design drafts. The number of revisions is limited to 2 full rounds. Expect 1-2 weeks per round. If additional revisions are requested, they will be billed at $60 per hour, 1 hour minimum until we receive your approval.
STEP 7
FINAL PAYMENT. Payment for the final installment of 50% is due prior to the website going live. Additional charges will be included for add-ons not covered in the initial agreement.
STEP 8
ANNUAL HOSTING. You are responsible for purchasing annual hosting through Wix to enable website installation and domain connection. Some Wix plans provide a free domain, plans start at $60 per year. Bright Idea Web Design will set up and install your hosting and domain as part of the website plan you purchase.
